Shifter concerns
Has anyone that has taken delivery opf a W164 had any experience with valet parking with regard to the non standard shifter?? Is it necessary to teach a valet to use it every time you leave the car for parking ?? Or, is it so intuitive that its not necessary to do this.

from what I have read, it's just like a joystick in a sense. Follow the arrows for which direction to push/pull the lever for the appropriate gear.
Push up and it's Reverse, Push down, it's Drive, looks like pulling towards you is Park and pushing outward is Neutral.
Should be pretty simple to follow
