What tire are you running?

 

I realize this post is 5 + years old, but I totally love the look of this wheel and tire set up, assuming the ML is also slightly lowered.

What wheel size is this, what tire are you running front and back and is the vehicle lowered, how much?

Any help is very much appreciated.

New wheels and tires today.

Wheel size: J9.5 x 20, ET48 (ML63 Style AMG replica)
Tire: 275/45 R20 (MICHELIN Cross Climate 2)

15mm spacers in the rear, tires are now pretty much flush with the fenders front and back.

Totally changed the look of the truck with a much more aggressive stance.

 

Nice looking ride! Love the wheels! I’ve got the 21” version on my GL 63 AMG and they look great. Nice upgrade! 😀

You have any performance mods done or planned?

I realized I literally cannot hear mine run lol…so just ordered up an Italian Supersprint stainless resonated X-pipe and their matching stainless dual outlet mufflers yesterday. I should take some before and after sound clips when it arrives.

 

No mods done or planned, the ML performs just fine without any performance mods.

 

You’re probably spot on…! I wish I knew how to leave a car alone and just drive it. 😂

A few OEM+ upgrades. Excellent truck with 160K

 

I did a thing over the weekend. ML550 was involved in a hit and run in a parking lot. Bumper, fender needed some rework.

Once I dropped it off at the body show we realized the grill also had cracked at the bottom. It was in a spot that couldn't be fixed and I was out of time. Told my guy just put the old one on and I'll get a new one.

But didn't want to deal with the downtime after of getting an OEM or OEM style W164 grill and getting it repainted. So since it's the wife's now I let her pick what she wanted and she went for something different from later model MB's.

At first I wasn't excited about it. Thought it would be completely out of place. All that front black accent would be too much I thought. Would have looked better If I had the blacked out headlights.

But after looking at it for 2 days. It's really grown on me and I like it. It looks refreshed.
