After watching the PBS Motorweek review on the ML this weekend, I e-mailed them Saturday regarding the Off Road Pro package, which they made sound like was available now. This is the prompt reply I received this morning:
"Thanks for your note Mercedes says the package will be available here this year. Thanks for watching and keeping us honest.
Regards John Davis"
The review was not bad--very positive. They got 7.2 sec. 0 -60, which along with C&D's 7.1 pretty much confirms the factory spec. of 8.2 is bull (probably to sell more 500s until they get the new engines). The model they tested appeared to be a base 350.

In the option list in France there is already an off road package and you can order your model with it but I don't know if we speak about the same thing.
