Cruise Control (pre-distronic)
I keep forgetting to bring this up...but I discovered a few weeks ago that the cruise control system appears to be new in the 164.
Once the cruise control is set you can lower or raise the speed in increments of 1mph or 5mph depending on how far you press the cruise stalk.
The neat part is when you're doing, say, 75 mph and you quickly press the stalk down several times to slow down the brakes will apply depending on the speed. I've exited off the interstate from 80mph to 40 and then 20mph all by using the cruise stalk which almost puts me at a full stop. Pretty cool.
Sort of makes up for the lack of distronic.
