I am waiting in my ML350 to arrive in Dec sometime and I ordered it in Peridotbraun / Verde Brook (depending where you live) color. I only saw a 2x3 inch color sample but it looked very interesting – very dark, yet not black (which seems to be one of the most popular colors). I have actually never seen this color on an MB yet, nor have I been able to find any pics online as this is a new color and is only being released in the 4th quarter of 2006 (now).
Has anyone seen this color or have any photos of cars in this color?

Oh and for those of you who don't know what it looks like, my experience with the sample was a very very dark brown/black, that in some lighting conditions had a dark green sheen to it.

Thanks for the pics guys, but actually I have seen plenty of the MB color-choice pictures, however they are extremely inaccurate – if you look at Germany and the US, then UK, Italy, the colors all appear different. So in actuality I was curious to see some pics by some of us MB owners of the car itself.

That is not even close to accurate. I have seen it, and it's not my favorite. But, color is extremely personal, and if you like metallic green cars, go for it.

Hey Greg,
Where did you see a Verde Brook MB? Was it an ML? I believe only the ML's and GL's are offerend in this color.
I'm getting some mixed feedback as to what this color really looks like. Is it more green or more brown? Could you try to give me your best description for it?

My dealer has some actual painted metal samples of each color. I have not actually seen a vehicle in it. If I am remembereing correctly, it was a very dark blackish/brownish green metallic. Now that I think of it, it was Everest Green I did not care for.

Yes, I saw those same metal samples at my dealer too. It's kinda hard to picture such a small piece as a whole car – but I only looked at it inside the showroom – I think I'll go back and take it outside and see what it looks like in natural light conditions.
