Lowering question
Hey guys, I know this is the wrong part of the forum but the guys on the R section are clueless. Anyone know how to lower a non-airmatic R350? Should be the same as lowering an ML since the two are built on the same chasis.
Thanks, Steve

you need to stick to the r class forum. The 164 ML does not have a chassis it is unit body construction. That leads to it being different
oo and one more thing GO Buckeyes!!!!!

Brabus makes a variety of hop-up parts for the R Class. I beleive they have a set of springs that will lower you R. You can get the phone number on their website

Wrong. You have some bad information my friend. Here ya go:
The Buckeyes and the Gators are playing each other for the championship at the BCS Championship Game on January 8 in Glendale, AZ. 8pm kickoff. Although a BCS game, this year marks the first year that this is a seperate game from the other bowls that comprise the BCS
The Wolverines will be facing the Trojans at the Rose Bowl on January 1 in Pasadena, CA 5pm kickoff

What I meant to say is how can you say that the trojans(who lost to some team noone ever heard of) will beat a team who lost by 3 points to #1Buckeyes) Wolverines will win by at least 2-3 touchdowns.

Washers eh
You need new springs to lower a car properly and possibly a few other parts like struts. Even if you do it yourself a spring set is probably around $300~400 for most decent cars. Then of course you have to know what you are doing. To have it installed by a proffesional shop you can just about double that. Now you could probably have it installed by Darrel and his brother Darrel down at Billy Bobs autoworld but the few hundred you save on the install won't cover the new tires you'll probably need because of the amatuer spring install.
Or if you really want to save some cash just let some air out of the tires

Has a star in the front, built in a mercedes plant on the same production line as the ML, you may not want to spend the money to lower it, but it is a mercedes.

Hi
Try the HR springs, I have them on my ML (without airmatic) and they give superb handling and the price is reasonable The labour cost for changing the springs + wheel allignent is actually more expensive than the springs themselves..I guess its the same procedure with the R-class as it also has the 4matic. Good luck
