Anyone heard any rumours about Mercedes bringing 420 CDI engines into US/Canada?

I hope. I would gladly buy a diesel, but I just want a little extra oomph, and the 420 would certainly do it.

I think you will see it when the it is approved for 50 states as the Bluetec...probably 2008 sometime (2009 MY GL as shown in Detroit???)

...I absolutely would love to buy the GL 420. But, i was wondering...why not a GL 320 and upgrade with a Kleemann KD-Box? While I love that crazy front grill, I somehow suspect that the Benz will command a substantial premium.
