This picture shows the rear spoiler that I had painted and installed for $1300.
I have new rims that I purchased and that are sitting and waiting to be placed on the vehicle. I just haven't been able to get to tire kingdom for installation. I wanted to get away from these amg rims being that this vehicle truly is not an AMG... And so I purchsed the aftermarket Mercedes Rims I believe there called Rukabat... there 19" and the tires that come with the vehicle can be used for the new rim.
[QUOTE=K7014;2356244]Here are pics of the Mercedes C230 that was kicked off of I95 on Thursday AM. I was very lucky to have just bruises to my right hip from the seatbelt, bruises to my left knee and left arm from I suppose the airbag.

Alacantra Inserts and Sports Package for the ML 550
Sorry that I posted alot today. Here are the pictures that most of you have been waiting for. The alacantra inserts are considered black although they have a grayish look in person and a more grayish look in some of the pictures below.

The steering wheel comes with the aluminum composite trim
and so does the interior of what would be normally wood... except for the center console. That area has a different type look to it. Its not a wood look or aluminum look.

Those are the pedals for the sports package.
If there are any other pictures you'd like me to take or questions to answer please feel free to ask. Take care!

Glad you are OK.
I'm ordering a 550 and considering the 922 Interior Appearance Package in order to get the aluminum trim cause I hate the wood trim. I haven't been able to locate a car with this option so I can try out the included sport seats. I have a concern with the side bolsters. Are they larger? Some side bolsters get too large and make the seat uncomfortable for me.
Any comments on the sport seats, good and/or bad?

Sorry that I wasn't able to post yesterday. Unfortunately, I was aiming to pick-up my vehicle but was rather involved in a serious and near fatal car accident yesterday AM. Luckily, I have my life and my it wasn't my new car that I ended up crashing into a wall off of I95 and Sunrise Blvd. Some 24 yr old in a red pick-up truck driving three lanes from the right side of the interstate hit a green volvo in the second lane which then hit my Mercedes C230 loaner car while I was driving in the far right lane and forced me at 50-60mph off of the interstate, thru the grass and into a concrete wall. I am very thankful to the man above for leaving me with a soar and bruised hip and knee rather than broken bones, serious injuries and/or death. If your car EVER goes in for service, request a Mercedes loaner, don't let them put you in an enterprise or other loaner vehicle. I clearly was at the wrong place at the wrong time... and will be seeing the driver that caused me to crash into that cement wall at his hearing.Anyways, back to the alacantra seats, I will go take my pictures now of the interior and exterior for you all to see. I'll post within the hour.
... I see from your posts that you live near me (South FL) ... I am looking into getting an '08 ML320 CDI with Premium Package, Leather and the Push Start option (which my wife has in her Infiniti and is very nice).
I was wondering which dealership you purchased your ML from, the Ft. Lauderdale dealership on Federal HW or the Pembroke Pines dealership in Pines Blvd.? Do you had any recomendations either way?
Glad to hear that you are ok and enjoy your new ML...

ML550 mileage
Does anyone have the official fuel mileage info on the ML550. Mercedes has not released the info on the web site or in their brochure? I was wondering if the lucky people who have already received their ML550's had the figures posted on the window sticker. I heard that the mileage was going to be better than that of the ML500. I realize it would not be much better if any but I'm still curious.

Hate my Sport Running Boards.....
I've had my 320CDI now for a few months and hate the sport running boards. Tried to find a ML that didn't have these things but no luck at the time.
I don't like having to step over them every time I exit the car. Just in the way, I don't have kids and would like to get rid of them.
Anyone done this removal???

Thanks for taking the time to put the pics of your seats up. I drove the ML 320 CDI, X5 and the MDX yesterday. Until I saw the pictures I was tossed between the BMW and Merc. I'm in. Just gotta get the right price now!

Want to bye ml55
K7014
Wow. Perfect.
I live in Kiev(Ukraine) and want to order the same car.
Please tell me exactly what accessories and options in your car. Full list please.
Coz i want to order the same.
And i can't understand. Configurator on mbusa for ml 2008 works correct?
Coz in the first step i order cd changer, ipod and in second step they calculate it againe.
I choose ML because i am tall man (6.4) and in X5 i feel not so comfortable.
As far as i know ML have more space for tall people. Isn't it?
So
Why it two times calculate 6-Disc CD Changer, Illuminated Door, Chrome Door Handle Inserts, iPod?
Illuminated Doors not necessary 100 years to me, just can't understand Why the configurator count up these things two times?
And why you sold "Style VI 20" AMG 5-Spoke Wheel $4,640? They are not good?
You have told
But on configurator if you choose leather seats it automatic gives you wood panel. But i see you dont have wood panel.
Maybe you have MB Tex:
Black Alcantara Inserts and Aluminum/Composite Trim.
And why it dont give me to choose parktronic?
Tnx.

Update:
It's been a while since I've been back on here. I am trying to answer some people's questions if it's not too late.
The seats are great, they feel just as great as any other nice leather seat.
I bought my ML at Pompano. They were awesome with ordering and pricing my vehicle.
I used to drive an X5 and hated that the interior and exterior appear to be and were much smaller than the 2004's. Any tall person would fit just fine in this car. There is ample room.
I would not recommend using the automatic generator but if you do, select the options from the OPTIONS section. The packages already include the cd changer so do not re-select it. Same with other options, there is no need to re-select them on the accessories page. Click as many options as you would like. Those options are done in factory. All other items that are not in the options section and appear in the accessories tab will them be cost factored in but are sold as parts from the accessories department of the dealership.
