When I was at the dealer for the 1500 mile check the tech told me that the easy entry / exit feature that moved the seat back upon entry/exit was removed from the 2007's "because of warranty concerns". The firmware is still the same, so the feature can be re-enabled on the MY2007 ML's using the SDS if you can convince a tech to do it for you.
