Can anyone help me, as to just how hard an oil change would be on my 07 ml 350 with a 6 cylinder, I understand that the oil is sucked out as opposed to drain plug, how about the oil filter, any help will be greatly appreciated. (BTW) i now have 7000 miles on it now. Thanks

Look down at some of the other oil change threads. I've linked to a unit that is far superior to the "Topsider".
You can get along without it, but the job is a whole lot easier if you have the proper wrench to remove the filter cartridge holder. They're available from a variety of sources. Be sure to loosen the filter cannister prior to sucking the oil out, so that it wall drain the oil down to where the sucker can get it.
