ML 320CDI 2008
Xenon HID Conversion Kit

Hi everybody,
I bought a ML320CDI 2008 and i want to add XENON
1. Is it possible to add the original bi-xenon?
2. Are all the kits on ebay the same? just to buy the cheapest?

**I know that i should go to a dealer in order to change in the computer to Xenon (35W)

Thanks,
Danny

yes, of course. You can buy a factory Xenon. I think factory is not bi-xenon. The hight light is not xenon.
Yes can also buy a aftermarket kit, the better one is last longer. If you buy a china-made one, I think you can only use for 6 months.
I also want to find out the different between factory xenon and aftermarket xenon, since they both with projecter lens. All i know is factory xenon is 4300k, aftermarket kit you can choose 6000k up to 10000k...

The factory is definately bi-xenon, I think it work out expensive though as an after fit.
You might be better off talking to MBenzNL who carries out loads of mods to MB's and frequents this forum pretty regularly.

Hi beam is not Xenon. It's an H7 bulb.

Believe that the high beam is Xenon AND the H7 bulb. I have them and they are great.

As sosh said both work as high beam, bi-xenon means exactly that, it doubles up as main beam and full beam, it always runs as high beam but a small cover flips down and restricts the light output for normal use.
And yes the H7 is also used as high beam too.
