can i install a Comand myself?

I saw in there is a lot of Comand in ebay selling very cheap. Can i install myself? Is it very hard to do?
Is it 'Plug and play?
Or 'Plug and pray?

If by COMAND you mean navigation etc...then From what I know it's worse the "plug n pray" has to be done through dealer and will cost a good deal of money in labor alone...better off just getting a TOMTOM or GARMIN and being done with it

i know it is better to buy a GPS like TomTom. I hardly use GPS, but i want to install a rear camera. It is better to have one connected together with a C0ommand. Otherwise i will have too many wire inside the car.

Yup, nice and easy on the ML

See www.mercupgrades.com - theres a 'retrofit comand aps to ML' document there

Obviously, get a US (MCS-II) for the US, or a COMAND-APS for Europe, I beleive the connections are identical - but just check out the GPS aerial connector before buying the part number I suggest
