sirius subscription
i bought my ml 6 months ago and was told via mail that my subscription was going to expire on dec 2 07.
i called in and told them i would not be interested in renewing as a paying customer and requested that it be turned off.
well, its 3 days after and i still have sirius working.
anyone else have this problem?

I don't know what has been up with the Satellite radio lately. We had a free three month trial on our Yukon when we first got it three years ago. After the trail was over we lost the XM connection and were fine with that. I got an email a couple of weeks ago saying our XM was about to expire on that vehicle. I called up and asked them what the hell that was all about. And they just said, oops you were supposed to get that email. Wow, they were a big help.
Just keep checking the system. If after a week you still have it, call them back.

this may be a stupid question but if it is still working why would you call them and tell them that you still have the service ? When I activated my free trial I did not have to give them a credit card number at all. just my name and address along with the esn number from the radio in order to open the account. If I were you I would just enjoy the service until it doesnt work anymore

It's been over 6 months for me and I haven't received a renewal notice or anything yet. In fact just last week I got a letter from MB asking why I haven't activated my Sirius yet and explaining all the benefits. I'm wondering if I fell through the cracks somehow and I'll be enjoying it for free indefinitely.

A few days before my free 6 mo sirius subscription expired I called to purchase a lifetime subscription. Their web site listed the price as $499, but the nice man gave it to me for $399, which includes 3 radio changes at $75 each. At $12 something per month, that price would be exceeded before 3 years...........
