Question Deal offered on ML350 -- Is it good?

MSRP = $49,710
Invoice = $46,285
Selling price = $46,300
33 months
7,500 miles (which is supposed to drop the residual by 2% compared to 10K, 3% compared to 12K or 5% compared to 15K)
Residual = 64%
MF = .0025
$0 down payment (incentives are around $2,500)
Monthly base = $634
Monthly (7% tax) = $679

How does that selling price sound? This is the only factor I think I could get a better deal on. Aren't people paying under invoice for this car? Also, could the residual be negotiated or is .0025 good enough?

TIA!

Not sure about the lease "mumbo-jumbo" but just looking at the selling price, it seems like an alright deal...nothing AMAZING but defintely not bad...if you can get it for $45385 I'd say it'd be a great deal

Did you try " CARS DIRECT" web page?
Last week I got a ML 350 with what I wanted on it, for $800 under the invoice and not crazy fees.
The local dealer was not nice at all so I use Cars direct and they found another dealer in the Bay area who delivered the car home before any money was exchanged.

Good luck

If there are 2500 in incentives to the dealer, then they are just passing on most of the money MB is giving them. Better way to think about the incentive is that it lowered the invoice cost by 2500 without costing the dealership a single cent. you could even think of it as MB dropping the MSRP by 2500.

No way! CarsDirect.com is quoting me $950 above invoice when I know this car is selling for below.

Anyways, after some negotiating, the price came down to $640 after 7% tax (selling price was lowered and so was the money factor), so I'm happy, but the one car that was available with the colors and options I wanted is being held for another client now. If it doesn't happen on this M, I don't want any other.

I am paying $601.73 w/ NJ tax (7%) on a 27 month 20K per year lease. Payment sounds a tad high but fair.

I see your in Miami. What dealer are you using. If you haven't shopped Bill Ussery yet, see Juan the sales manager there. Good guy.

Sorry, the deal is done and I forgot to come back and report.

Negotiations started in Bill Ussery, but ended in Mercedes Benz of Ft. Lauderdale. Both of my contacts came through, but, ultimately, the one at the latter dealer offered a better deal.

Final numbers are as follows:

MSRP = $49,710
Invoice = $46,285
Selling price = I don't remember... Need to see contract. I was more concerned about the monthly at this point.
33 months
7,500 miles
Residual = 63% <-- Not sure; need to check the contract
MF = .00235 <-- Not sure; need to check the contract
$0 down payment (incentives are around $2,500)
Monthly base = $598
Monthly (7% tax) = $640

They did not give me MBC's "advertised" 64% and .0022 for this deal because I guess they decided to make their money here and, instead, lowered the price below invoice so that the final number would be what I was looking for.

Oh, I didn't mention I was doing all this for my mom, because that was really irrelevant. My mom is now a proud owner of a nice Arctic White + black MB Tex ML350.

Thanks for the advise!

Congrats! I bought my ML500 at Bill Ussery. I find them to be a little better than the Pembroke Pines MB dealership.

Anyone know a good service advisor to go with at Bill Ussery?
