increase in tow capacity to 7200 lbs
hey guys happy new yr.
i see that mb site now shows tow capacities of all MLs at 7200 lbs. previously it was 5000 lbs.
was there a hardware change or simply a rating change? anyone know? thanks.

Saw that to. My manual always claimed 7200 pounds so I think the web support staff were not paying attention when they wrote the program. There were other errors I saw also...

08 ML320CDI
In 2007 the USA spec ML 320cdi was rated at 5000lbs and the Euro spec ML320cdi was 3500kg (7700lbs +/-). Now all 08 USA spec are rated at 7200lbs and to my knowledge nothing changed.
