Ash interior with Alcantara inserts combines the inserts with aluminum door inserts and black dash inserts (no wood anywhere) and sport seats which have a larger lateral flank bolster and the sport pedals. Also got the rear deck protector with the matching cargo box, which I find is actually useful.

Since there was recent post about the outside pictures of my 2008 ML320, I wanted to post a comment about my interior pictures which you guys may have missed when I originally posted it. Note the alcantara insert option.

 

I'm digging the no wood look. Is this a U.S. spec ML320 with the 922 option otherwise known as the Interior Appearance package?

 

Yes, it is the US version with the 922 Interior Appearance Package. Presently, it comes with the interior in the color Ash or Black.

However, when I ordered my truck, July 07, I believe I remember correctly, the only option for alcantara was in the Ash color.
