Daytime Running Lights

I'm getting really close to ordering an '08 320 CDI, and I have not been able to get a definitive answer with regard to DRL's. On Xenon equipped ML's, are the xenon's used for daytime running lights (as on the W163), or does the W164 use other lamps for the DRL's ? T.I.A.

Yes, the low beam xenons are indeed used for DRLs. They do last for a while however, despite running full time, and the bulbs are cheaper these days if that is your concern.

In my case though, I just use the foglamps and parking lamps (via the switch) as my DRLs.
