I got it on eBay ~$200 easy installation.

Most difficult part was to wait till I get it from the seller. (3 days)

Then 5 minutes / tail light. It was very easy. Just plug and play.

BTW Thanks MJ50 for help with HID kit

May I ask where you mounted the ballasts?

no I bought my mb and it was already there.
I installed ballasts near headlamps (I have slim kit). Pics are coming soon. Also I saw somebody posted pics on this site just do a little research.

2008 ML350 4matic

I placed my ballasts and error cancellors right inside the headlight housing....I checked for heat issues after an hour of use or so....warm, not hot, no issues for 5,000 miles now. I run the headlights and the parking lights at all times....no issues.
