Another Update

Was at the New Jersey shore this weekend. Filled up my E Class with 91 Octane at 3.30 per gal, an 11 cents savings over the PA prices. Diesel at that station was 3.99 about a 50 cent savings over PA. A friend of mine delivers new boats for a living and was getting ready to take a new NJ built boat to Florida to be put on a ship for export to Italy. He has budgeted $17000 for fuel to get to Miami. When I last made that trip in my boat that burns about the same per hour it cost me $5500. Here in PA Diesel at most stations is now $4.50 plus. Also last thurs I had lunch with an old friend who is still working as a corporate pilot, he had just returned from a trip that started and ended in Boston. He said he put 1000 gals on in Boston and the price for Jet A was $8.25 per gal at Boston Logan. Said Jet A has been ranging from 6.50 to the high of 8.25. Jet A is quite like diesel except for anti fungicide and anti icing additives. In fact car and truck diesels run very well on it. I am not certain if it is low sulpher or not.
