'sport' setting (with airmatic)

Does anyone know if setting the airmatic suspension on the ML550 to 'sport' changes anything other than the suspension settings i.e. steering gear ratio ?, tranny/rpm shift points ?, vehicle height ? etc. etc. etc.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't do anything other than change the suspension. I haven't noticed anything extra when using mine. It doesn't say anything in the owners manual about changing tranny settings or anything. The vehicle height is lowered when reaching highway speeds. If you want driving modes, I'm pretty sure the ML63 does adjust shift points and such.

ML320CDI 2008 all options inc air suspension
The suspension settings tune only the ride...if you want to change shift points braking touch etc hit the off road button..i sometimes use it in town to blast off from red lights..lol..

no, the car get lower, get down of just 1 cm and the suspension get stronger, harder.
pushing the off road button, the ASR effect is limited, so you'd can start fast letting the wheel spin
