this is about Lifestyle, if you want buy something you wish, then you got a target to make you work hard and rising you living standard, I think all human are same, but when you got something you must lose something, e.g holiday; a dinner with someone you love etc.

I think Chinese car market more like US than EU, people like bigger car, Luxury car or more options, the only different is US luxury car price much more cheaper than China, but most of other products are really cheap than US or EU, so most lower income family still can make they living standard.

hood star = round mercedes symbol/star on your hood/bonnet/engine cover, like what you have on your E280.

oh, I understand now, that Situation may show at 20 or 30 years ago, in that time, China was a poor economy, people never saw most car brands and do not know about automotive Industry history, Mercedes-Benz is the most expensive on the street, some people think hood star is made by real silver material, so somepeople stolen hood star and try to sale it, after few time, those find out they are wrong, the hood star just a electroplating pieces, so they stop stolen that.

right now, China already become a one of major car industry country, so many car brands have factories here, Including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW and etc. car become ordinary just like TV; mobile phone or Washing Machine, no one make that kind of mistake again.

he he I bought a new ml 350 in november 2005 at 90000 euros in Greece this is 145000 us dollars today , the car has only standar equipment plus the command navigation that i pay 5000 euros for it about 8000 us dollars

mercedes is only cheap in US and Canada only because of the big competion on SUVs in the rest of the world is expensive like an aston martin.

Just paid the service of the 40000 km or 25000 miles at the resonable price of 2500 euros or 4000 us dollars.

anyway does anybody knows where to get an ml 420 cdi in the US new or used ?

i have sent a few cars to poland before, i got into a accident in my ml350 2006 insurance wouldent call it a total loss so i sent it to poland paid 2k for a full container in which i put in my 2006 ML my 2007 jetta tdi that i bought on copart did a little body work, bought a quad on copart it was can am, bought a tractor lawn mower with a husqwarnia(sp) engine so it can be serviced theyre and easy 110K for me
