Considering my next mod.....

OK....I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on a exhaust system for my ML500 so I'm thinking of other alternatives. I'm just looking for a slightly deeper tone with no resonance in the interior during cruising. A little freed up horsepower would be nice too! It is time to make the ML sound like it has a couple of cojones. Right now it doesn't even really sound like a V8......

Over the years I've had lots of toys and tried lots of different aftermarket exhaust systems and I've found that sometimes they create more HP and a great sound, but sometimes you lose a ton of low end torque and get lots of droning with the exact same muffler on a different car. I've had my best results with Corsa and Magnaflow.

Any cost effective ideas for the Benz? I know I should just leave it stock, but that is just no fun!!!

I've been in touch with Corsa. We are doing measurements to see if we can get something to fit. I'll keep everyone posted.

Here is a video of their system on a BMW M5....sounds sweet!!!
