'08 ML320 CDI Bumper Replacement - Need Urgent Help
Hello All -
I have a 3 week old '08 ML320 CDI that I ended up busting the front bumper up on (I know
)!! Anyway - I am looking at this as a chance to get an upgrade and want to body shop to replace it with the AMG Sport Front Bumper and had planned to pay to different between the Insurance Company replacement and the AMG Bumper (which looks to be around $1200).
Anyway - I have a couple of questions. The guy at the body shop asked me if the bumpers were interchangeable and I told him as far as I have been told they are. So ...
1. Are they interchangeable? If there are other parts needed what would they be and what would the estimated cost be?
2. I think the ML550 comes standard with the AMG bumper? Would it be cheaper if I ask my MB parts guy to give me a part number for the ML550 rather than the AMG part number (I already have the part number for the AMG and that is what the part guy used to tell me it was $2000 for the AMG bumper).
Anything else I am missing here?
