Recall Notification Card for 2008 ML550
Just received a (voluntary) recall notification card for my wife 2008 ML550. Does anyone know what this recall is for?

Actually, if it's a "card" and not a letter it may be a dealer service sales promotion.
Official recalls are communicated via government-specified procedures and the owner gets a letter from Mercedes USA. The notification DOES NOT come from your dealer.

Nope, you get a letter--not a card--notification on that recall. Now I've never ignored a recall, so maybe you get a card as a reminder if you do. Don't know. As Dutch says, the guy is going to have to read it.
