Order lead time

We want to get a 2010 ML550 with Airmatic suspension. I understand that in 2010, you can only get Airmatic through a "special order" (it isn't even listed as an option on the website). Does anyone know what the lead time is for ordering an ML550 this way? How long from placing the order to receiving the car in the Northeast (Boston)?

I have a new 2010 ML550 with Airmatic. There is a $250 special order charge plus the airmatic charge and the adaptive suspension charge. I ordered mine in mid July and took delivery on Oct 1st. The ML actually came into the dealership mid Sept but I was out of the country at the time.

You can ask your dealer but you'll likely find you'd have a three month wait. We put in a order last week and our dealer says the ML will be put on the train for shipment in early January. So, three months PLUS transit time to us here on the West Coast.

In contrast, my husband placed an order for his vehicle (not a Mercedes) and his will arrive in November. I'm envious!
