Ipod / Iphone Connector not working on Iphone 3G
My wife's 2008 ML550 factory iPhone connector no longer works on her iPhone 3gs.
It still works for the 1st gen iPhones but not on the 2nd & 3rd.
Any quick fix to this?

2010 ML550, 2010 E350 4M, 1966 Corvette Convt C2
My 3gs IPhone works on my 2010 ML550 but does not charge. Do not know what sort of a set up you has as so far as plugs on the cord. Also do not know if it ever did work or is this something new.

It is because your old iphone used 12V to charge but the new ones use 5V. You need to use a connector adapter like this one http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-passPO.../dp/B001HN6CVA
