Odd electric window problem
Hi,
Just had the first problem on my ML (09 320CDI): After the window got stuck when it was frozen up with ice, I now seem to have lost the one touch up feature. In addition, the once you pull the button to get the window all the way up, it then drops halfway down automatically!
It will go up fine the next time you try it though.
I'm assuming that there is some kind of position sensor in there that has got damaged or shifted when the window was straining against the ice holding it shut.
Does this sound about right? Has anyone experienced this before and, if so, is there a reset procedure for this?
Many thanks,
Cheers,
Ruaraidh

Indeed! I read it when I first got it but I must have forgotten that bit.... As a result, I pulled the manual from the car for what is clearly a much needed refresher course....
