Parking and license plate light bulbs

Has anyone succesfully changed the parking lights and the license plate lights to white, maybe LEDs with resistors built in?

I searched and found attempts, but no success stories.

I have......
IJDMToys.com for the plate light LEDs with resistors, no errors(37.00) and eBay for a pair of 5W5 PIAA extreme white bulbs(18.00).

Thanks Benzo!

Was swapping the parking lights difficult?

Getting to the back of the headlights on my M5 is a real pain the ***. Hope it's easier on the ML500.

The parking lights were not so bad...a good sized pair of needle nose pliers and a flat head screwdriver.
Twist the socket counterclockwise with the pliers while applying pressure on the socket with the screwdriver to get em out. You can see the socket through an opening in the grill assembly/radiator support above the headlight assembly. You can "help" twist the socket by putting pressure on it with the screwdriver in the direction you want it to turn.
The bulbs really complete the look. I went with a 6000k HID kit for the headlights, 5100k bulbs for the fogs, and the extreme brights for the parking lamps with the LEDs in the back.
