Active Curve Illumination question

I've got the factory Xenon HID lighting package and I'm trying to spot the "Active Curve Illumination" in action (without getting distracted and crashing )

Understanding that this is different to the "Corner Illuminating Fog Lamps" which are are easy to spot, is there a simple way to see the "Active Curve Illumination" in action? Is it speed sensitive or can you notice a difference if you just crank the steering wheel whilst parked? Maybe its obvious and I'm not looking hard enough...

Thanks.

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Did you try to crank the steering wheel while parked?

How about while doing 120mph? (no, don't do that).

I don't know if it works while parked... but you can always have someone behind the wheel and you in front of the ML while they turn the steering wheel, see if there is any movement in the headlamp brightness? Wear some sort of sunglasses.

It is speed sensitive and does not work while parked. It's quite easy to notice at night.

You have to be going 20-24mph+ (don't remember off the top of my head exactly) for the Curve Illumintaing feature to activate. Cornering Fog Lamps are activated at 19mph or less.

try a circular freeway onramp. you should see it illuminating things to the side of the car (which is in front of you), but your car is pointing at an angle.

You can see it best on a foggy night. You have to be moving, but can't remember how fast. I have seen it in parking lots.

Saw it last night. Wriggling the wheel side to side down a straight road and you can see the lights moving way more than the vehicle is rocking. Also a very slight delay in the light returning to straight. Its pretty cool how much it changes yet not so much that its disconcerting.
