2006 ML350 DVD question
Just installed nav drive in our ml. Can it play dvd movies? The installer said it doesn't but looks like it may be possible. Thanks

The U.S. vehicles did not offer movie DVD viewing at all. DVD drive is just for nav.
BUT a euro nav unit which has the DVD drive built in (the screen does not tilt) can play live TV , DVD movies etc. but it still needs an input source. It is just much easier to do than with the domestic ones. Much more sophisticated than the U.S. unit. Do a search on ebay and you will find the Euro spec ones for about the same price as U.S. units when they are offered.
