Coax GPS Antenna connection Missing under rear seat

Hi All,

I've searched the forums and have not seen anyone else with this issue.

I own a 2007 ML320 CDI and want to install the DVD Nav drive. Anybody who wants to retrofit the DVD Nav Drive in seems to be able to install the drive itself, and simply install the splitter under the drivers side rear seat with no problem. I seem to not have any loose coax antenna back there for me to attach a splitter to. The only thing i can find back there is the seat heating control module. Is it possible that my ML was never prewired? Or perhaps there is a straight cable from the Antenna under the roof panel, direct to the Comand head? Or perhaps the connection is somewhere else?

Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

May be you know it already, but will say it again. It is a black wire sealed with black tape at the open end and hanging loose under the left rear seat. Good luck!!
