tire question

have a quick tire question for my 2006 ml350.

How is Michelin Latitude Tour HP ZP (Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season) handling in snow, does it provide good traction in light snow or it is fine for slippery winter conditions? any feedback or experience will be highly appreciate.

thanks in advance.

thks for the quick reply. a follow up question to everyone, what do you guys think of run flat tires? i did read up and the issues are mainly:
1. noisy
2. lower tread life

is there anything that i should be aware of? do they work with tpms without any issues?

Im in Chicagoland too and put on a set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires.....love em for all aspects; Quiet when its dry, awesome wet handling, great snow tire for our accumulation.

As C43 mentioned, 3) harsh ride
4) More expensive to replace
TPMS would not be an issue.

I just had these installed a couple weeks ago and happy with them so far. Unfortunately, I got them after we had all that rain here in CA, so now it probably wont rain for a couple years here so no idea how they perform wet.

Depending what part of the country you are in, these may be hard to find though. Tire Rack has been out of stock for a while and no one had them locally in all of CA. I ended up having my local tire shop ship them in from UT for an extra $80 because Continental USA said that they are out of stock nationwide and wont have inventory until April at the earliest.
