Roof racks... black/chrome/nil
Hey all...
I'm not a fan of the black roof rack rails on the 07/08 ML's but I do like the Chrome rails on the 09+
While searching the the replacement chrome rails to install on the 08 ML, I noted that there seems to be a part number for roof moulding that will replace the roof rack rails. I thought roof racks were standard.
Anybody have any experience in this topic? Even better yet, any pictures of an W164 w/o roof rack rails?

I've just bought a -06 ML w/o the roof rails, but I got a pair of rails separate from previous owner that I'll try to retrofit. . Here are a few pictures. I'm looking for info on how to remove headliner and the lists on the roof covering the wholes. Anyone has some info about this removals?
