How do u open the fog lights covers 2011 model
Hey guys how do u open the fog light covers to change the lights on it?? This is for the AMG style lights. I tried to open it with a screwdriver like in the manuel but it kind of bent the plastic as i was trying to pry it open. So i left it alone for now.
Well anyways i changed all my lights and now just have that one to go. any help will be great thanks!!!

Use something with a hook on the end. In the bottom of the foglight surround there is an oval cutout that is used to access the alignment screw. (Stand on your head and look up at it. 
) Snag the hook in this cutout and give it a good, sharp tug. But be forewarned: the trim piece is held in by two snap-in connectors (at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock) and these can easily break when you remove the ring, particularly if everything is cold. $40 for a new one.

Just yank it towards you. It's a good idea to hold the part loosely with your other hand so that it doesn't fall and get scratched when you pop it out.
Small tip: At roughly the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions you can see very small indentations in the trim ring where the tabs are that hold it in. If you can, push one of those red straw thingies that come with silicon spray cans into these indentations and give each one a little spritz of silicon spray. It will help loosen the tab if there is dirt in there.
