ML350 BlueTec Trailering stories

I am thinking about buying a bigger travel trailer. I know my ML350 BlueTec rig is rated 7200 lbs with 576 lbs tongue weight on the factory hitch. But I am reluctant to try pulling right at the limit.
Let's hear your experiences with trailering with your ML tow vehicles! Any mountain experience?

Has any ML owner towed a 6500 lb 27 foot travel trailer or bigger? How about a horse trailer?
How did you do?
