Tires for ML320 19"

Hi
We have a 09 ML320CDI. It is fitted with 255/50R-19 on 8" rim front, 285/45R-19 on 9.5" rim rear. Sucks because you can't rotate the tires front to rear, was a demonstrator so thats how it came, but the wheels look nice.
Just wanting thoughts or ideas what tires to put on next. It has Continental Crosscontact UHP on now, the mixed sizes limit choice a bit.
Some I've seen:
- Bridgestone Turanza ER30
- Michelin Latitude Diamaris
- Pirelli PZero Rosso
- Hankook Ventus St
- Hankook Ventus As
- Yokohama Advan Sport
Don't need some of the more high performance tires on a 3.0l diesel SUV but as said choice is limited, they wear pretty fast on our coarse chip roads but would like good wet grip.
It is fitted with Airmatic suspension. While it drives pretty good (doesn't bump steer) it rocks from side to side even on mildy uneaven roads. Would different tires make a small improvement to this?
Any input appreciated.

Hankooks

I replaced my tyres on my RR Sport (just traded for a ML350cdi) with the Hankook Ventus. I achieved 45000km on them which considering the state of our road surfaces to be pretty good. Price was a bonus. I noticed no discernible difference in handling and felt the traction was good even up Ruapehu in winter. I have noticed that the ML is softer than the RRS and tends to wallow a bit more, the RRS was on 19s, the Ml is on21s so i think that this is just how the car behaves and changing tyres may not solve how your one feels.

Going to put on Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport didn't initially realise they are available in NON Run Flat, also can get them for a good price.

To help with the ''rocking'' try changing the mode on your suspension. It also might have something to do with having oversized rims on the back.
One thing to check when using different tire sizes on an AWD is they must be exactly the same overall diameter or there will strain/wear on the all wheel drive systems.Stand the new front and rear tires side by side b4 installing to make sure they are the same height.
I went with Toyo Proxes ST2 for my replacement tires and they are great.
