I just saw that this ? felt sealing tape at the front edge of the sunroof is coming off. It is actually a pretty cheap sealing tape, and I am amazed MB would use some nonsense like that.
Do you think the dealer will fix for free? Obviously, I am under warranty.

Yes, the dealer will fix for free. I have same situation on the first week from delivery. They tell me if after fixing the issue remains the same, they will replace completely air protector. 1 hour takes to complete the job. Good luck.

I took mine in yesterday and I am 99% sure that all they did was to remove this felt strip/tape completely... What kind of fix is that...?

Spoke to my service advisor/manager and he says that yes, that is the official fix. To remove the felt tape.

Mine was sealed back, seat and looks very well up today.
