cargo organizer

I have seen nice Infiniti and Touareg cargo organizers but nothing from Mercedes. My stuff is flying around the cargo area on that slippery cargo mat. Anyone bought anything?

Bought a beautie at K-Mart two years back for $25.00. But this year the good lady wanted one for her car, and found they had dropped the line. Managed to find one in a country store where they were dumping stock at $15.00.

This has been discussed before, so you may want to do a search of the archives.

I bought collapsible plastic boxes. They stack neatly when not in use and pop open to stop stuff from flying around. If you Google "collapsible boxes" and switch to Image view, you'll see lots of options. Mine were $10 each. I have seen them in all sorts of different stores.

I have now seen similar to mine in the local auto parts store, again at $25.00.
I enclose a photo to show the layout, and it does fold up to half size or about 2" thick if reqired.

this is the best I've found so far.

Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid-Base Interior Organizer (38" x 15"): Automotive

good construction, width is perfect for the ML and folds almost completely flat when not in use. My wife absolutely loves it for groceries, etc.

The Rola cargo organizer looks very good. Does the organizer secure down to anything in the rear, or is it free to slide around too?

It is actually heavier than it appears and it does not really slide around. I have a cargo liner (Weathertech) and not just the carpet thingy, though. It does have 2 loops on either side, so theoretically there may be a way to tie it down, but probably not needed.

I've never noticed that it's moved at all - whether empty or loaded.

Note: there are 2 sizes available - different lengths. The one that fits the width of the ML best is the 38".

I got mine from the link above, but I got it for $57, now it shows as $77 and the small one is $57. That is unfortunate. Search around, maybe you can find it for less than $77.

Thanks guys for the recommendation on the Rola 38". I ordered it, and the quality and fitment is quite impressive.
