do you have a friend who you can borrow the dvd just to "test" if you like it before you go to mercedes dealer to pay big bucks to buy your own copy. however, if you decided that you "don't like" the new content and not to buy it, you can't go back to your old one(wink).

Updated with the 2011 v6 (I think). Besides the updated streets, PIOs, it did ad time distance of a sort. A big improvement over having none before. On the other had, my HOME, is know where near were I live, and every time I enter my address, it want to direct me to a different place (where the street name is not even close????) other addresses on my street do come up 50% of the time.
This is almost as good as the new Apple map data, and that doesn't even list my town.

I got this junk of $30 and it did work for a while, I did not see anything different to the 2008 version. After few weeks, it often freezes, somtimes at the critical time when I got closer to the destination.
Recently I bought a 2011 version for $ 85 and used it for a few days now, it seems a lot better. For link, you guys can look for the related thread in this forum.
