Fuel Sensor Problem

[QUOTE=AudiA4Turbo22;5084967]Oh and BTW after some more research I found out that their are 2 sensors in the tank for fuel levels, one that takes care of full to half and the other does half to empty. Change both sensors.[/QUOTE

Hi Im new to this board and having the same problem. The fuel guage appears to be working fine until it reaches about the 1/4 tank range, when it just seems to stop moving. This has caused a scary incident when running out of gas traveling on the freeway.

Do you know where these two sensors are located? Are they part of the fuel pump or fuel sending unit?

My Mercedes is the W164 ML350 Blutec.

Thanks to all for this thread and in advance for information you have.
