Where is the battery

Not sure if you need to cut the carpet or not. I moved the passenger seat all the way forward and removed the plastic cover where the rear heat ducts are. I then remove the black plastic cover above the battery. I checked and the battery will lift out once the pos and neg terminals are removed. There are cutouts as mentioned if you do need to cut the carpet
