SiriusXM Traffic Not Working
I have a 2012 ML350 that I have started having a problem with the XM traffic service. The red and yellow traffic symbols are now showing up all over the map and not on the actual highway I'm driving. I confirmed this with my wife's 2011 ML350 and it has the same problem. I also checked sigalert.com and my Garmin with traffic and they showed correctly.
After an hour on the phone with XM they told me that starting with the MB MY 2013 models the data format has changed and you need to have MB update the receiver firmware. I took the car to the dealer and the SM told me he'd seen the same thing but they didn't know of any new firmware for the receiver. They went ahead and updated the COMAND software but that did not fix the issue.
Anyone with a similar observation? Traffic used to work great here in LA.
