I got mine will see what the difference is on the dyno. Question do you guys need to take the insulation off to get a reading for the torque? I was not getting a good sinal so all i could get was the HP.

 

Great, we look forward to the results. When hooking up a tach pick-up to read RPM pulse, you must pull back shielding in order to clamp around the exposed wires going to the coil pack. Your airbox may need to be removed to get better access. (if removed, please re-install airbox for dyno testing)

The best way to get a true baseline if you have installed the tune prior to dyno testing is to remove the tune and turn back to stock tune, then run the car for at least 5 miles (regular driving and also WOT) before strapping to the dyno. After the baseline (stock tune) has been run, then flash in the tuned map to suit your set-up. A few runs may be needed for the ECU to adapt. If you already have a baseline, then it is fine to drive to the dyno with tune installed to test tuned settings.

 

Thanks, Yeah I did not want to Peel back the shielding so we just did hp the ML350 made 224hp stock. There is a pic of the dyno in my other post. I am looking forward to seeing the improvments. I have to give you guys credit very good customer service.
