Any way to play music from USB with 08 ML?

I have an 08 ML with Navi (No command/color screen/motorized cd insert) and hate to keep burning new cd's every week. Is there any way I can play music from a USB stick?

Install aftermarket unit - you can get better navigation system (i.e Garmin), BT, video in motion,....

The COMMAND system is obsolete and you can use it only for listening AM/FM radio.

Is the audio system you have the audio 20? Do you have a CD changer or just a single slot cd player?

Your vehicle doesn't have iPod integration? My '08 does and it works and sounds excellent.

Not interested in using a iPod as it gets distracting. Do they give you different wire choices? Like Ipod cable, usb cable, etc? I mainly want to play from a USB stick than having to keep burning CD's. I dont mind paying the $500 or so it costs to get the iPod integration kit if it will play music from USB's tho.

You want this:
http://www.dension.com/product/iPod-...ts/gateway-500

It hooks up to the 6 disk CD changer slot on your Command. You can still use the changer with a button to switch between the Dension and the CD changer.

I don't have personal experience with this unit, but I hear nothing but good things about them on this forum. Their iPod integration is also better than stock (can be controlled through the factory head unit rather than only on the speedometer screen).

MSRP is $500. Install should be straight forward if you're game to take the headunit out. Otherwise any tech will be able to do it.

Great link! Finally, exactly what I have been looking for. Everyone kept saying I had to upgrade NAV units which was almost impossible (given its absurd price). This is a much better logical solution.

What's the best place to pick up the Denison unit at a good price?
