65mph

On my 2010 ML350, right about at 65mph, the steering feels loose and directionless, as in I feel no connection. Anybody know anything about this?

I might add, the steering does not come back to center on it's own when I make a turn into my driveway. I have to turn it on my own.

Begin by checking the obvious. Tire pressure would be the first place to start. Try it say at 30 lbs then 32 then 34 to see which is best for your tires and vehicle.

I should have updated this: The fix was steering alignment. Once I got the alignment done, it is good.
