I bought the Michelins!
Its like a new vehicle. $480/tire though, ouch. PLUS, I buy the certificates for lifetime replacement for another 72.00 tire. I get my moneys worth for this traditionally for 25 years at discount tire. At 36,000 mile I had warranty replacement of all 4 corners of air shocks, all sway bar link, differential bushings and ball joints new under warranty. This is better than Showroom new!!The tires are the Latitude sports. The only version that was available through my network however is the RO label for the Porsche Cayenne. THe MB 295/35/21 were not in stock in USA with the MB signature.
Anyone know the difference. I escalated this question through 3 levels at Michelin customer service and someone finally said that the MB and Porsche WERE different, but the info is confidential between AMG and Michelin.
Anyway, there is a 20k tread life warranty.
None of my cars go beyond 10 k with Michelin Pilots. Lets see how these do.
