Just some updates to the ml.

black depo led headlights modified to use led strip for blinker and marker, no amber blinker. The new depos won't use leds for blinkers by default.
retro fitted evox-r projectors with osram svs d2s running at 50W, have to see it in person.
New perelli p-zero at 275/45/20 from the old 295/40/20, much more suited for the ml350.
New bilstein hd shocks with eibachs instead of h&r with blown shocks. Thanks for looking.

it looks great. I was thinking about the depo's headlights but don't know how to modify to use led strip for blinker and marker. can you describe more precisely what to connect the wires ?

It's a bit complicated in a way, didn't really take pics during the process. The bulb holder for the oe marker light is connected to a load resistor inside the housing. Cutta good lebght and connect these 2 wires to the 2 wires feeding the parking lights. When you pull the bulb holder for the parking lights there are 2 wires connected to them inside the housing, you'll know when you do this. These 2 wires feed the led strip, so connect these 2 to the 2 wires feeding the marker lights. You must buy extra wires and crimp with extra connectors. basically, the leds are powered by the parking lights by default. You just need to power them by the maker lights. You need to buy a pair of load resistor and connect as the led will give you an error. More pics.
Output shots of osram svs @50w.

Looks great! I have a question, though.

Is that a LR2 in your garage? If so, what year is it and how do you like it??

Wow good eye, it's a 2010 lr2 hse. It's my wifes car and she likes it very much. Much smaller than the Ml, she says it's easier to drive. She says my car feels like a big tank compare to hers. I like it as well, straight six is by Volvo and AWD. I wouldn't mind one after I put some 20" Evoque wheels. You do feel more of the awd gears more, but you do get a high greenhouse with good view. Basically it's Volvo with a Land rover skin, all the Volvo parts are compatible ie air, oil filter etc...

That's interesting...I never knew that the lr2 was partly by Volvo. does this make it more reliable than the other land rovers? I've heard many horror stories about the problems of owning a LR without warranty.....

Thanks, here's the breakdown:
$380 for depo headlights
$150 for evox-r projectors
$170 osram svs bulbs
~$100 for some good canbus ballsts

The colorful 50w cutoff bouncing on a 6 lane hwy, priceless.

Are those OEM or replica wheels?

The wheels are oem, got lucky on ebay a while back. They were in pristine condition, but the stock yoko's were horrible/sidewalls too stiff.

Do you find these tire make any "noise"? Why did you go from a 295 to a 275 since the 275's look stretched?

No noise so far, I think the 275's look better on a 10" width wheel. No stretch at all, looks perfect.
The 295's had a bulged out look to them, good curb protectors. They also stick out 1/4" past the fenders as well with the 46mm offset. Maybe with some flares, would look good.
