PROBLEMS AFTER DISCONECTING BATTERY
2007 ML350
I had the battery disconnected for a few minutes and now the dash displays AUDIO---- COMPASS---- PHONE---- followed by PLEASE WAIT. I can control the audio volume from the Comand but not from the steering wheel anymore. Everything else works as it should. Also, how long does the car retain power after turning off and locking it? My Garmin GPS that is plugged in the lower passenger side 12V outlet stays on all the time. Any thoughts on my problems? I did some research and couldn't come up with any answers. Thanks

Also the analog clock on the dash is off a couple hours and doesn't respond when I set time in the Comand which does show the right time.

Sounds to me the control box under the rear passenger seat behind the drivers seat is running without the ignition on. turn off the car take the key out of the ignition. lift the rear seat cushion lift the floor rug and addition gray / back type carpet. there is a control module box approx. 6'' x 10'' wit cables plugged in the side of the box. unplug one at a time, if the box stops running wait a minute or two and plug cable back. turn on car and see if all OK.
