Looking to get an ML350, 2007 model, with 17k on the clock. This is a one owner car, and according to the local MB dealership, it has been religiously serviced. Asking price is $26k. I checked and this is not affected by the balance shaft issue, so I am safe there. I have a rough idea of inspecting a used car and I am strongly considering a pre purchase inspection. Owner states he has all maintenance history, so that will help as well. Are these solid cars, I know it will cost more than other cars to maintain, and thats ok. Any suggestions are welcome, does the price seem fair, should I aim lower?

No suggestions, everything checked out as far as dealership detailed maintenance records, all done up to date. We are down to 24k flat now, thinking about getting it this weekend.
