Help resetting service indicator after oil change 2010 ML 350
Need some help in resetting the service indicator on a 2010 ML 350 after a DIY oil change. Have tried to press cluster illumination 3 xs with key in #1 position to get to the service menu to display without success. Any suggestions?
Reviving this old thread and hoping for some help. That video has more detail than it needs early, then none when I need it! Here's what I see in the MFD when I put key to position one, go to mileage, push reset 3 times fast: I select Confirmation.... I select Full Service... I see Service Confirmed.... but this is the result.
What did I do wrong??

If you have followed the steps correctly then most probably you need to reset the service manually through Star Diagnosis. There is a menu under Assyst Plus (not Assyst) in star diagnosis -....days after service....km after service - insert the data manually and confirm. It has worked perfectly on a w211 i had and in my current w164.

Unfortunately I'm part of the 95+% of members who do NOT have personal access to Star Diagnosis.

In my 08 ML63AMG service C i go through all the steps when i get to press service confirmed, after that it say service Not confirmed? any ideas why i cant reset it?
